Joseph Descans is a lifelong learner and motivator with a diverse background that uniquely qualifies him to connect with audiences. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he has worn many hats over the years: from freelance writer and editor to certified arborist, former professional surfer, a surfing competitor at the K2 Challenge Winter 97-98, and now a certified speaker with the John Maxwell Team, as well as a successful coach. Joseph’s life experiences, combined with his commitment to excellence, enable him to bring a unique and genuine approach to his work.
Through his talks, coaching, and bestselling book Hosea: The Prophet Who Married A Prostitute, Joseph shares invaluable insights on perseverance, purpose, and professional growth.
